These photographs are not constrained by time or geography nor are they defined by a single theme or subject. Each image is allowed to tell its own story, idiosyncratic and intimate, the emphasis on clarity outweighed by visual, emotional impact.
Artist Statement
Roger Camp is the author of three photography books including the award-winning Butterflies in Flight, Thames & Hudson, 2002 and Heat, Charta, Milano, 2008. His work has appeared in numerous journals including The New England Review, Phoebe, Typehouse and the New York Quarterly. His work is represented by the Robin Rice Gallery, NYC.
